Marna Swart has been a grade 10 English teacher at SCCSC since 2023 and has been teaching in China since 2019. She graduated from the Rand Afrikaans University in Johannesburg, South Africa, with a B.Sc. degree (majors Mathematics and Geography) as well as with a B.Sc. Hons. degree in Geography and a M.Sc. degree from the University of Port Elizabeth.

Marna enjoys traveling off the beaten track, hiking and nature photography. She is also busy learning Chinese, her 5th language.
